We are seeking a motivated Clinical Research Medical Assistant (MA) to support clinical trial operations for a leading clinical research organization conducting Phase I–IV studies across multiple therapeutic areas. Position Summary
The Clinical Research Medical Assistant supports investigators, research coordinators, and clinical staff by providing direct patient care and assisting with research-related activities. This role blends traditional MA duties with clinical research responsibilities in a fast-paced, collaborative setting and requires regular travel between clinic locations.

Key Responsibilities
Perform clinical procedures including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and processing
Assist with patient screening, scheduling, and coordination of study visits
Support research coordinators with study documentation and protocol-related tasks
Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
Educate patients and families on study procedures and visit expectations
Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, and study protocols
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Travel regularly between clinic sites (Salinas and Merced)

Minimum Qualifications
Medical Assistant certification
Healthcare experience required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Bilingual English/Spanish required
Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel between sites

Clinical research experience
Phlebotomy experience
Pediatric experience
Familiarity with research documentation and regulatory requirements

Compliance Requirements
Current CPR/BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
Current TB clearance
Immunization records (declination available if applicable)
Clean driving record and current Drivers License
