Position Summary
The Registration Clerk is responsible for greeting patients, collecting and verifying demographic and insurance information, and supporting front desk workflows to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and register patients in a professional and courteous manner
Verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, and eligibility
Collect copays and required documentation
Schedule and confirm appointments as needed
Answer and route incoming phone calls
Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR)
Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Support clinic staff with front office and administrative tasks
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Previous customer service or front office experience
Strong communication and data entry skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor and patient-focused attitude
