Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to support billing and revenue cycle operations for a healthcare organization. This role focuses on accurate claim submission, payment posting, and follow-up to ensure timely reimbursement.
The Medical Biller is responsible for preparing and submitting medical claims, resolving billing issues, and maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Submit medical claims to insurance carriers accurately and timely
Review and resolve claim denials and rejections
Post payments and adjustments
Verify insurance coverage and benefits as needed
Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status
Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
Ensure compliance with billing regulations and payer guidelines
Support month-end reporting and billing audits
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Medical billing experience
Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
Familiarity with insurance plans (Medi-Cal, Medicare, commercial)
