The Plus Group is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our client’s healthcare team. This is a very well-known medical facility located in Yuba City, Ca.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team promptly
Report changes in patient condition or behavior to nursing staff promptly.
Support patients with mobility needs, including ambulation and transfers.
Maintain clean and organized patient rooms, ensuring equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
Support safe patient transport within the facility.
Accurately document care provided in patient charts or electronic medical records.
May perform clerical tasks as needed.
Uphold patient privacy, confidentiality, and safety standards in accordance with hospital policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
